pstat is a simple shell script that parses /proc/*/stat and outputs it in human-readable form. It also allows output to be formatted for easy parsing. I needed this tool for debugging, found ps(1) syntax too cumbersome, and thus rolled it out. It may well be too trivial for inclusion in Debian. Then again, maybe it will be useful to others too. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (98, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-cirrus Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : :' : proud Debian developer, admin, user, and author `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing a system Invalid/expired PGP subkeys?
