I'm not volunteering to maintain this package (not right now anyway), but preliminary packages are available at http://roland.mas.free.fr/debian/ for now. Should someone feel interested, I propose to start from here. I may even be convinced to act as a sponsor if needed. Beware: build-dependency on ffmpeg, which has been packaged by Sam Hocevar and uploaded to Debian, although not yet accepted into sid by the ftpmasters.
