The software is written in Java and it is free (refer to the GNU general public license). It has been run successfully with Java 1.1.6 and 1.2.x on different flavours of Unix and Win32. If you use kaffe, make sure that you have at least version 1.0.5 (out since October 18th, 1999) and use at least version 0.7.1 of PPower4. The Java part works with kaffe and it's even possible to compile it with gcj (not fully testet). This would make it possible to include it into main - if there wasn't the dependency of the LaTeX files on foiltex which means that it has to go into contrib. :-( --------------------------------------- Received: (at 138020-done) by bugs.debian.org; 31 Aug 2004 18:47:44 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 31 11:47:44 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from (vserver151.vserver151.serverflex.de) [193.22.164.111] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1C2DfU-0005gI-00; Tue, 31 Aug 2004 11:47:44 -0700 Received: from pd9589a37.dip.t-dialin.net ([217.88.154.55] helo=legolas) by vserver151.vserver151.serverflex.de with asmtp (TLS-1.0:RSA_ARCFOUR_SHA:16) (Exim 4.34) id 1C2DfS-00029s-Qi; Tue, 31 Aug 2004 20:47:43 +0200 Received: from jmm by legolas with local (Exim 4.34) id 1C2Dfv-0000ZG-OC; Tue, 31 Aug 2004 20:48:11 +0200 Date: Tue, 31 Aug 2004 20:48:11 +0200 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6+20040818i From: Moritz Muehlenhoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-SA-Exim-Connect-IP: 217.88.154.55 X-SA-Exim-Mail-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Closing outdated RFPs Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-SA-Exim-Version: 4.0 (built Sat, 24 Apr 2004 12:31:30 +0200) X-SA-Exim-Scanned: Yes (on vserver151.vserver151.serverflex.de) Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.5 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,SUSPICIOUS_RECIPS autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 34 This RFP has been closed as it is very old and the requested program isn't even under active maintenance since at least two years.
