Subject: wnpp: ITP: qed -- A (very) Quick English Dictionary for Linux
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
X-Mailer: bug 3.2.10
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: wnpp
Version: N/A
Severity: wishlist

I would Packakage This Litle program, that available from:
http://www.math.u-szeged.hu/~bognarv
I would upload it by sponsor (I found one)
This program is fully GPL.
It contains a pronouncing dictionary, which conflicts with DFSG,
so I would remove it, or replace by a free pronouncing dictionary.
This dictionary, now only contains an english->hungarian dictionary, but
I can add more dictionary-s if sy send me.
This program knows expressions also, just you should click onto 2 word
of an expression. etc, etc.
This is the best dictionary, I've ever seen.
It now run on console (uses /dev/vcsa0), but I contacted with the author,
and he send me X version, and a command line version.
(The orig. qed was written in perl, the last two additional thing was written
in python)

isn't even under active maintenance since at least two years. If the
program is really important to you, please revive it upstream first.
