Once Sarge is completely frozen (i mean, optional too), i will set-up a mini mailing list including all who have make suggestions and will finally get everything done: it is has yet to be decided the exact final partitioning of the package, but is seems that libdspam<soname>, dspam (containing the agent and tools) and libdspam-{sqlite,mysql,postgresql} are the bare minimum (BDB is reported to have problems lately)

Well, I need to move at a faster pace, and by principle I refuse to install things that are not debianized, so I ended up taking the existing 3.0.0rc1 packaging work, updating it and polishing a lot of the edges. There's still a lot to do, and I'd even be happy if someone else actually maintained the package, but I'm attaching the results of my current work on dspam.

Apart from the obvious ugly patching of some file locations (which should be cleaned up and sent upstream), I think I'm making good progress. I'm not looking at the multiple backends issue for now -- there's still too many simpler things to finish.

Note, this is just a snapshot of work in progress; I'll keep on polishing it until I get the postfix integration done nicely. Someone else will have to do exim etc.

Maybe there should be an alioth or something repository for this?
