Hi Stephen, I re-preped the rzip package and put it on the web [1] and uploaded it to the mentors.debian.net repository [2]. The package conforms to the latest policy and is both lintian and linda clean. I've installed it on a few systems and have had no troubles. rzip doesn't look to be in anything resembling rapid development, but I am actively using it and am more than willing to maintain it.
