I intend to repackage mercury for debian. Mercury is a research logic programming language, similar to prolog, but with strong type and mode systems, which allow very powerful static analysis. Mercury has been packaged for debian before (there is a rather elderly package in woody), but I believe it was removed due to release critical bugs and lack of love and attention. Preliminary packages are available from: http://www.cs.mu.oz.au/~hawkinsp/ =) Peter --------------------------------------- Received: (at 257121-done) by bugs.debian.org; 11 Jul 2004 03:08:02 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jul 10 20:08:02 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from epistula.trinity.unimelb.edu.au [203.28.240.16] (postfix) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BjUh8-0005kd-00; Sat, 10 Jul 2004 20:08:02 -0700 Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by epistula.trinity.unimelb.edu.au (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2A4C5BC; Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:07:59 +1000 (EST) Received: from epistula.trinity.unimelb.edu.au ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (epistula [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with LMTP id 25902-02-2; Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:07:58 +1000 (EST) Received: from bill.trinity.unimelb.edu.au (bill.trinity.unimelb.edu.au [203.28.240.2]) by epistula.trinity.unimelb.edu.au (Postfix) with ESMTP id E56CFB9; Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:07:58 +1000 (EST) Received: from localhost (epistula.trinity.unimelb.edu.au [203.28.240.16]) by bill.trinity.unimelb.edu.au (Postfix) with ESMTP id C4D5717E45; Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:07:58 +1000 (EST) Received: from bill.trinity.unimelb.edu.au ([203.28.240.2]) by localhost (epistula [203.28.240.16]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with LMTP id 32073-01; Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:07:58 +1000 (EST) Received: from noisy (bill.trinity.unimelb.edu.au [203.28.240.2]) by bill.trinity.unimelb.edu.au (Postfix) with ESMTP id 548E717DF7; Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:07:58 +1000 (EST) From: Peter Hawkins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: New package of mercury accepted into the archive Date: Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:08:07 +1000 User-Agent: KMail/1.6.2 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new-20030616-p7 (Debian) at trinity.unimelb.edu.au X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new-20030616-p7 (Debian) at trinity.unimelb.edu.au Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 2 Hi...
