Hi David, I have noticed that magicfilter is up for adoption. I'm not sure if someone is doing too much work on it yet, but if no, then I would like to adopt it. I use magic filter with lpr (which I've been fixing up over the last few weeks). I actually use it with the old HP DeskJet 500 (over 17 years old now!!).
I would like to add a better configuration utility that will parse /etc/printcap and allow people to change/delete/add printer settings. Are there any reasons why version 2.x has not made it into Debian yet? - Adam -- Building your applications one byte at a time http://www.galacticasoftware.com
