no-ip.com offers dynamic DNS service, which is ideal for users
of computers connected 24x7 using dynamic DHCP ip addresses.
The client periodically connects to no-ip.com's DNS servers and
updates your domain name to point to your current temporary address.
no-ip.com offers FREE accounts if you use a subdomain of no-ip.com
(for example, vlm.no-ip.com)
For a minimal cost, no-ip.com also offers various other dynamic DNS
related services, such as using your own domain name instead of using

One good example of how to use this service, is to register your DSL

The no-ip automatic updater software has already been packaged by Otavio
Salvador ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). The package `no-ip' was allowed into the
archive on May, 4th 2004. As the ITP hasn't been closed, I hereby do it
now.
If you have objections, contact the maintainer directly since I am just
someone intending to clean wnpp a bit.
