Althought I am not into the 'leaves RC bugs open for lots of time' class aj talked about, I certainly could perform a much better job in packaging if I were not overloaded. I would like to focus on packages like apt-howto which desperately needs updating/attention and would like to work more closely to the GNOME packaging team. I really like these packages (sylpheed-*), but they need more attention than I can give them right now. So I'm looking for someone who works with sylpheed daily, understands mail-related protocols a bit and also have some C coding skills. Upstream people are very nice and cooperate with me a lot -- much more than I have been cooperating with them =( Thanks, -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux beterraba.horta 2.4.22 #1 Ter Out 28 01:49:30 BRST 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 --------------------------------------- Received: (at 222728-done) by bugs.debian.org; 30 Apr 2004 15:47:29 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Apr 30 08:47:29 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from zape.telecable.es [212.89.0.25] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BJaEb-0002e6-00; Fri, 30 Apr 2004 08:47:29 -0700 Received: (qmail 7394 invoked from network); 30 Apr 2004 15:46:56 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO remoto0.aic.uniovi.es) ([83.97.152.8]) (envelope-sender <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) by 0 (qmail-ldap-1.03) with SMTP for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; 30 Apr 2004 15:46:56 -0000 Date: Fri, 30 Apr 2004 17:46:50 +0200 From: Ricardo Mones Lastra <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Ido Rosen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: adoption of sylpheed Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Organization: Centro de Inteligencia Artificial - Universidad de Oviedo en Gijon X-Mailer: Sylpheed version 0.9.10claws48 (GTK+ 1.2.10; i686-pc-linux-gnu) X-Face: ;%Ws3L$.3^vnZGdjc-N\sIaOI1)zEJW{~f!E|WLg0}[]]#'p=~f7uZT=?r!{yZ#g!<nVG9?8YC!2>4qH7(VA}AFiACRfNW5?[XLG3Bx#.BX9A|\yVgr]v:QIn*b,#vUS30QH!*1]:ah(_DioSgsy(K{(Vno,2ED Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 1 On Fri, 30 Apr 2004 01:47:38 -0500 Ido Rosen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I am interested in adopting sylpheed and releasing future sylpheed > packages. > > Please notify me if Sorry, sylpheed has already been adopted, but I forgot the closes: clause in the changelog.
