Hi there,
I was reading about an ITP for libpam-ssh here:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=156257
And I wondered what happened to it. There were some misconceptions about
the functionality it provides as reading the above bugreport suggests.
It is essentially a pam-module to load the ssh-agent at login and feed
the private key, decrypted with the login passwd to it. This is rather
useful, because it enables transparent login to ssh servers with the
corresponding public key, furthermore using sshfs from
http://lufs.sourceforge.net/lufs/ and cvs over ssh becomes quite a
pleasure :)
I am not volunteering to package it for a lack of experience with debian
packages, at least I wanted to clear the misconceptions and ask, if
someone is still working on it.
