Hi Jani, I am packaging github.com/hashicorp/go-getter, whose get_s3.go imports github.com/hashicorp/aws-sdk-go-base/v2/endpoints, so this ITP is one of the things standing between go-getter and an upload. go-getter in turn is a dependency of syft (ITP https://bugs.debian.org/1124819).
I can see you have the repository going at https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-hashicorp-aws-sdk-go-base with upstream 2.0.0~beta74 imported. How is it going? No rush from my side, I am blocked on a second thing anyway, but if it would help I am happy to take on part of the packaging, or to review and test what you have. Just say which you would prefer.
