Possibly - but there is perhaps a difference between files needed so that a program can link in libpq3.so or libecpg.so and those needed because the program expects to build in the postgresql source tree and needs to be tightly linked in with a particular PostgreSQL version. I think I will wait to see just which files are needed before I decide. -- Oliver Elphick olly@lfix.co.uk Isle of Wight http://www.lfix.co.uk/oliver GPG: 1024D/A54310EA 92C8 39E7 280E 3631 3F0E 1EC0 5664 7A2F A543 10EA ======================================== "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
