Running compilers or code checking tools, showing warnings extracted and lifted from their output, yes.
What do you consider the pros/cons of this approach compared to the Language Server Protocol (https://langserver.org/) that already does all kinds of static analysis, often assisted by the compilers, and integrated in editors with both inline tips and a console that lists tips similar?
I don't really know. It kinda stuck with me. Maybe it's just a matter of preference. I use both, by the way. Compiler shows concentrated list of warnings and errors. LSP provides completion. -- Sdrager, Blair Noctis
