This is preventing the fonts-ebgaramond package [2] to be updated into unstable without introducing a regression by having the Initials font gone. This new package is introduced to keep parity with the previous versions and hopefully allow for uploading the newer versions of fonts-ebgaramond from experimental to unstable.
