Hi Andreas,

Thanks so much for all your work on python-keep and howdoi. I really appreciate your help.

Regarding the repository location, I don’t have a strong preference whether it goes under /debian or /python-team. Feel free to choose whichever space is best for maintenance.

I’m also happy with the plan to do a delayed=10 upload for howdoi once python-keep is ready. If there’s any more I can do please let me know. I will meanwhile take a look at the other issues mentioned for that package.

Kind Regards,
Shriram Ravindranathan

Thanks

Hi,

as I mentioned in ITP for python-keep I intend to salvage howdoi. Thus
I've created a repository featuring the latest version of howdoi[2] and
so I'm hereby tagging this bug pending (+blocked by the new prerequisite
python-keep).

I would love to move that *temporary* repository in the Salvage team to
some other place (Debian/ ???) at your preference. It was just
convenient to do the work in Git and once a repository is inside Debian/
its harder to move. So please let me know about your preference.

I assume that the time until python-keep will be uploaded to new and
accepted there will take longer than 21 days. So I would like to get
your kind confirmation that this bug here can serve as some kind of
"Intend to Salvage" warning. Once an upload is possible due to the
available preconditions I would upload the package do delayed=10
immediately.

Please let me know what you think about this plan.

Kind regards
     Andreas.
