Technically, I'm the uploader and Lamont is the maintainer, but he has not been active in years. I am planning on retirinng from Debian soon and this is the most important package I have that's not under some form of team maintenance. I would like to do a proper handover to someone. The package description is: Postfix is Wietse Venema's mail transport agent that started life as an alternative to the widely-used Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer, and secure, while at the same time being sendmail compatible enough to not upset existing users. Thus, the outside has a sendmail-ish flavor, but the inside is completely different.
I worked with and on postfix since 2002 (contributing some code and a lot of support on postfix-users), use it on every system to date, always offered to help with packaging, and have my own share of packaging changes for debian.
