I'm the original author of swaysome, and would like to see it be part of Debian.
This software is already part of Arch Linux through AUR and Void Linux. Having
it in Debian would help many sway-flavored derivatives to make use of it easily.

I use this software daily since its very beginning in 2020, and I'm not aware of
any similar package.

I do intend to maintain both the upstream software and the Debian package, but I
would need a sponsor to get it uploaded.
If someone wants to help in co-maintaining, I'm not against the idea either, but
I don't expect this software to be a big burden of maintenance, so me alone
