GPL text-mode instant message client
 maim (MyAim) is a console AIM client based on the curses library. maim
 has simple layering, a clean layout and support for color terminals.

I've found that maim has some large bugs in it, and I can't get it to be
stable without large dev work. There are a lot of other packages that
work in it's place, such as centericq.
