I'm willing to help out, provided I can also work toward enabling ppc64el support in the official packages. I'm already on the biweekly pull / build schedule as a result of needing to patch + rebuild the ppc64el binaries, so am familiar with the workload involved.
On my Talos II workstation the build time is around an hour, so I should be able to iterate significantly faster as needed.
