FWIW, there have been a few other programs called "greed" that people
have attempted to package for debian already.
One of these is an emacs-based RGTP client, which never made it into
Debian (unfortunately: I'd have liked to have seen it in the Project).
Despite this, several people including me use the software installed
from its .deb, which does use the name "greed". That may cause a bit of
confusion for its users. See
<http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~owend/free/greed_1.3.0a_all.deb>
from <http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~owend/free/GREED.html>.
There have also been attempts to package other "greed" programs, e.g.
<http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/1999/debian-devel-199904/msg01568.html>,
an ftp client. I don't know what happened to that in the end.
Maybe it would be good to change the name of this package to something
like "greed-game"?
