Could you perhaps explain why one might want to use this in preference to any of the alternatives one might think of -- such as: mv mmv borgbackup (or whatever other decent backup system you use anyway) git (perhaps along with git-annex or git-lfs) Also, do you happen to have any impression of how many users there are of your package at present?
