I pushed some basic Debian packaging to https://salsa.debian.org/jbicha/gnome-tour
I don't think it is worth publishing in Debian. The app appears very simple: it is just 7 "slides" (like in a PowerPoint presentation). It has the ability to show a welcome video but that isn't provided by default. To do all that, it has about 100 vendored dependencies. The app is written in Rust. So a Debian packager would need to sort through all those and use the distro-packaged versions where available. It's just a lot of work for something that doesn't seem very helpful. And the Debian GNOME team doesn't have much experience in Rust. Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
