I'd like someone to adopt both of them, since that just makes the most sense. glade-2 is pretty easy to maintain and upstream is quite responsive about bugs. Glade is a different matter. It's the version of glade for the gtk 1.2 and gnome 1.x. It's not really supported upstream, but it's still a useful package to have in the distribution. So ideally someone with some vested interest in the package and some C programming skills to take care of the outstanding bugs would be ideal. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux apocalypse 2.4.20 #1 Fri Dec 20 18:08:05 EST 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US --------------------------------------- Received: (at 197433-close) by bugs.debian.org; 2 Aug 2003 16:23:10 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Aug 02 11:23:08 2003 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 19iz9u-0001Tj-00; Sat, 02 Aug 2003 11:23:06 -0500 Received: from katie by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 19iz4E-0007nd-00; Sat, 02 Aug 2003 12:17:14 -0400 From: Sebastien Bacher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.35 $ Subject: Bug#197433: fixed in glade 0.6.4-12 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sat, 02 Aug 2003 12:17:14 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of glade, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: glade-common_0.6.4-12_all.deb to pool/main/g/glade/glade-common_0.6.4-12_all.deb glade-doc_0.6.4-12_all.deb to pool/main/g/glade/glade-doc_0.6.4-12_all.deb glade-gnome_0.6.4-12_i386.deb to pool/main/g/glade/glade-gnome_0.6.4-12_i386.deb glade_0.6.4-12.diff.gz to pool/main/g/glade/glade_0.6.4-12.diff.gz glade_0.6.4-12.dsc to pool/main/g/glade/glade_0.6.4-12.dsc glade_0.6.4-12_i386.deb to pool/main/g/glade/glade_0.6.4-12_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
