Well previously we where using python3-ujson 1.35 but in the meantime version 4.0.1 was uploaded to unstable.
Looking at https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/python-jsonrpc-server/-/jobs/1126139 The error is: TypeError: datetime.datetime(2019, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1) is not JSON serializable which you can reproduce easily (and sounds right). On the other hand jsonrpc requers an old ujson: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/python-jsonrpc-server/-/blob/debian/master/setup.py#L37 Consider talking to upstream about the reasoning behind it.
