Also, I suggest switching to CDBS - it simplifies packaging "simple" packages (those properly using autotools) a great deal. Teel me if interested and you need some suggestions. Oh, and I suggest avoiding the --list-missing addition to dh_install. It is neat for debugging, but breaks backporting to woody. Other neat ones you might consider: dh_buildinfo and d-shlibs. I am now looking at your other packages. Have you talked to the current icecast maintainer about wether or not he will claim maintainership for version 2 as well?
