I was thinking about offering to adopt the package, but I'm still a bit of a novice at maintaining packages in Debian, so although it's fairly stable and doesn't see a lot of activity upstream, it occurred to me that it might make more sense for it to be adopted by the Netfilter team and to offer to help out in that context.
