Package: wnpp Version: unavailable; reported 2003-07-12 Severity: normal I intend to orphan the pychecker package for the reasons outlined in my mail to d-p. Pychecker appears to be orphaned upstream, or atleast I haven't been notified about new upstream versions for a long time now.
The package description is: PyChecker is a tool for finding common bugs in python source code. It finds problems that are typically caught by a compiler for less dynamic languages, like C and C++. Because of the dynamic nature of python, some warnings may be incorrect; however, spurious warnings should be fairly infrequent. -- Arto Jantunen
