Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist
Hello, I intend to create a package for 'annoyance-filter'. Here a short description from the man page of annoyance-filter: annoyance-filter - automatically detect junk mail uses Bayesian statistics to determine the probability an E-mail message is junk based on an analysis of its contents compared to collections of known junk and legitimate E-mail. annoyance-filter can be found at: http://www.fourmilab.ch/annoyance-filter/ As far as I can see is the licence of 'annoyance-filter' DFSG compliant: The annoyance_filter program is in the public domain. Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this software and its documentation for any purpose and without fee is hereby granted, without any conditions or restrictions. This software is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty. The files "getopt.c", "getopt.h", and "getopt1.c" are redistributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, Version 2. Please refer to this license in the file COPYING.GNU for details. Building an executable program incorporating these components subjects the resulting binary to the terms of COPYING.GNU. The CWEB Literate Programing utilities included in the "cweb" directory are provided for your convenience and do not constitute part of this program; please see the "cweb/README" file for additional information. The version of CWEB included with this program is not necessarily the latest (though it was when the program was written). The latest version is always available from: http://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~knuth/cweb.html The statistical library uses the DCDFLIB Double Precision Cumulative Distribution Function Library developed by the Section of Computer Science, Department of Biomathematics, University of Texas M. D. Anderson Hospital. Current source code for DCDFLIB may be downloaded from: ftp://odin.mdacc.tmc.edu/pub/source/dcdflib.c-1.1.tar.gz The authors have contributed this software to the public domain. See DCDFlib/README for additional details.
