Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

The current maintainer of dejagnu, Kevin Dalley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
is apparently not active anymore. Therefore, I orphan this package
now. If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- see
http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Description: framework for running test suites on software tools.
DejaGnu is a framework for testing other programs. Its purpose is to
provide a single front end for all tests.
 .
DejaGnu provides a layer of abstraction which allows you to write
tests that are portable to any host or target where a program must
be tested. All tests have the same output format.
 .
DejaGnu is written in `expect', which in turn uses "Tcl"--Tool
 command language.

Justification: inactive for a long time, RC bugs, didn't respond to
pings, said on phone to RMS he'd come back but didn't.
