Since this ITP is almost a year old and there is a package available under http://kopete.creativa.cl/debian/sid/ and the packages applies for NM and I am willing to sponsor him, I hope no one opposes us to go ahead and upload kopete 0.6.1a or a newer version (if available once we finished the package). There are some packaging thing left to be done, but the binary provided at this URL already works.
