The package description is: This package provides the Google Protocol RPC (modified to run outside Google App Engine). The Protorpc library is a framework for implementing HTTP-based remote procedure call (RPC) services. This package is part of the google GCE API, but it doesn't seem maintained upstream, and I don't have the energy to work on it. Adopters welcome.
