Thank you Bart, that was just ;-) Just to update the status of this bug: Communications with the upstream author/maintainer have stalled. elpa-poetry depends on a rhyme dictionary package that was dropped from Debian some time ago due to low popcon. Additionally, elpa-poetry interfaces with various web-based rhyming software its long-term usefulness would depend on keeping them up-to-date. So this RFP might involve "upstream maintainer" kind of work... The simplest thing to do might be to reimport that rhyme dictionary package into Debian and disable the functions that interface with the web-based rhyming software. Sorry for the lack of progress, I'm still working through a year-old backlog of TODO items and have prioritised other projects, even though I really care about this one :-) If someone else wants to step forward, please go ahead.
