Let me first thank you for taking the time to file a RFH when you've
realized you don't have time for this package anymore.

May I suggest you to reconsider on #668352 ? It might not be your
personal preference, but if you want to attract others you might have to
set your personal preference aside. I assume the number of people who
knows how to properly handle a 1.0 format package is decreasing every
day (and wonder if /anyone/ who have joined in after 3.0 was invented
knows how 1.0 even works anymore).

There seems to be very few open bug reports, so it would seem you're
leaving the package in good shape (and I didn't really find something I
could contribute on myself). If you know of things that could be
improved it would be very helpful if you could file (wishlist?) bug
reports about them (but I realize you might not have time for this
either). I'm not volunteering to (co)maintain, but feel free to poke me
if you want me to look into individual issues.
