The debian psutils package includes the actual psutils software plus a small handful of other utilities that have been packaged with it over time. There are a handful of open bug reports against psutils, but since upstream is no longer maintaining the package, we will pretty much have to fix any bugs we want fixed ourselves. There is someone out there who is interested in becoming a new upstream for psutils. I will put whoever adopts psutils in contact with him. The debian packages are in pretty good shape. This is a low-effort package to maintain, but picking it up could be a great opportunity for someone who wants to put a little effort into revitalizing it.
