Sadly, it needs modifications to the XFree86 drivers. This can make the packaging a bit troublesome (at least in the sense that it leads to a "this or that" situation, not just some add-on). And I must be blind, because I don't see source. There's the CVS of course. The other downside for me is that this doesn't support OpenGL (which x0rfb does, for example). Ola, can you give me a pointer to this "very similar" something that the realvnc folks are working on. I skimmed the mailing list (vnc-list) and I couldn't spot it. The best thing I could find was a reference to starting an Xvnc server and running a full screen viewer on :0 -- which is silly. Thanks, -- Marcelo
