I am writing to you on behalf of Citadel Foundation, an organization that sees as its purpose gathering funds to assist children in our orphanage home. Citadel Foundation has functioned for over 16 years and has earned the reputation of a reliable and enthusiastic organization that has helped to better the lives of hundreds of children in our country and its environs. Most of these children in our care were abandoned and less privileged. We are using this opportunity to request for your kind support in any of our current programs dedicated and committed towards restoring hope and a better future for these innocent children. As it may interest you to know, Citadel foundation currently houses more than 76 children aged 6 to 17. Many of these children are very brilliant and are determined through our support activities to be better leaders of tomorrow. These children express deep interest in the arts, sciences and the administration of the orphanage has decided to initiate a comprehensive education program aimed at providing quality education to the children and helping them develop their skills. However, the lack of money is a significant issue and challenge which we face at the orphanage right now. These children dream of a life-long career in the arts and other educational fields, and you can help them get closer to their dreams. You can support us in any little way that you can in providing some of the essential needs of these children at this time. The Children are currently in dire need of the following items and we are appealing for your support in providing us with any of these items; 1)Hostel Accommodation: We are also looking for support in our new building project. Our new building project is aimed at easing the pressure on our existing hostel apartments and we will also appreciate any support in assisting us complete our new building project with a moderate capacity of accommodating 25 children. The project is also extended to provide an infirmary for these children. 2)Bus: Due to the increasing number of children in our center, our only foundation bus does no longer have the capacity of conveying all the children to our various out – center activities. We will therefore sincerely appreciate any support from you that will enable us buy a new bus for these children as they are in dire need of meeting up timely with their out center activities. 3)School Needs: School Shoes, School Bags, Books, canvases, linen seed, watercolors, oil and acrylic paints, solvents, brushes, paper, pastels, and many other supplies. 4)Library Needs: Shelves, Chairs, Reading Tables, Computers, Inspirational Books 5) Other Needs: Bed sheets Pillow Cases, Towels, Toiletries, food items, kitchen utensils, Plastic Plates, Cups, Spoons, Knives, Cooking Pots, Frying Pans, Large Spoons We will appreciate your kind donations and willingness to partner with us in providing a better future for these children.
