This is now in the NEW queue for experimental. Packaging is in collab-maint: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/libgsystem.git It's currently marked as maintained by the Utopia maintenance team (dbus, polkit, udisks etc.) but I'd be happy to hand it over to any relevant team. Co-maintainers would also be very welcome. S
