It doesn't seem that important to me. It's currently been added as a *test* dependency and it's only in *one* project (http://codesearch.openstack.org/?q=betamax&i=nope&files=&repos=). Yes keystoneauth will soon be adopted by an increasing number of projects but betamax is not only a *test* dependency, it's an *optional* test dependency meaning that projects may choose to use it or not. An increasing number of other projects (like the requests-toolbelt) are adopting Betamax at the same time and being packaged by DPMT. Since I think the adoption story will be much wider outside of OpenStack I see little benefit to this being in PKG OpenStack. > I very much would welcome help.
