Drupal8 stayed for many months in the "just about to be released" status; I expected it to be ready toship with Jessie. As it turned out not to be the case, I just let the ITP age. I have recently retaken activity on the packaging, and am working on it currently. I will soon send a RFH and try to assemble a team-maintained package; meanwhile, I'll just move this back to ITP.
