Package: wnpp Version: unavailable; reported 2002-12-01 Severity: wishlist * Package name : cdargs Version : 1.20 Upstream Author : Stefan Kamphausen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and others * URL : http://www.skamphausen.de/software/cdargs/download.html * License : GPL Description : the shell cd with bookmarks and browser
CDargs heavily enhances the navigation of the common unix filesystem inside the shell. It plugs into the shell built-in cd-command (via a shell function or an alias) and thus adds bookmarks and a browser to it. It enables you to move to a very distant place in the filesystem with just a few keystrokes. This is the kind of thing that power shell users invent when even the almighty and wonderfull TAB-completion is too much typing. (Just as a sidenote: there exists TAB-completion for cdargs ;-) -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux aragorn 2.2.22 #1 dl nov 25 21:59:43 CET 2002 i586 Locale: LANG=ca_ES.ISO-8859-1, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (ignored: LC_ALL set)
