Hello. I am a developer that would like to help get my work into Debian proper.
I am resubmitting this email because I was unable to find my original submission
on the page listed below.
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?dist=unstable;package=wnpp
Since my original submission, my software has already been packaged and included
in the Arch user repository. I am also working to have my software included in
Fedora. Please contact me so that we can work together on getting this included
in my preferred Distribution- Debian. Thank you

Hello All. I am the developer of the temp-throttle. It is written entirely as
a Bash script. I wrote it a couple years ago to prevent my own laptop from
over-heating and powering off. Nowadays I use it to keep my laptop at a
maximum temperature of cool 60C. It has gained some followers over the years.

My request is not only to have my software packaged, but also I would like to
work with you to help make it easier (more proper?) for packaging. I am still
maintaining this code. I just fixed a bug that affects ARM architecture. Soon
I intend to add support for /etc configuration. After that I want to add a
script to boot the software properly using systemd (I will require help with
this).
Temp-throttle helps prevent hardware from being damaged from over heating, and
people can use it to help save electricity. Perhaps we can work together to
spread this software to those who need it. Thank you
