There's devscripts-de...@lists.alioth.debian.org and #devscripts for
coordination. I still plan on working on devscripts, but I need more
people to help out. I've pretty much only been able to apply provided
patches or make simple bug fixes lately.

There have been bigger contributions (like Osamu Aoki's current uscan
work) or enhancements that have been requested that I haven't had time
to review/implement.

Like most packages, triage and handling bug reports.

Other than that, there's no single item that I think is “most
important”. I'd like the scripts to become more cohesive instead of
just a collection of random scripts.

To that end, some mouldarization of the code would be useful.

* Consolidate the handling of how user configuration (both config file
and command-line) is performed, particularly in the Perl scripts
  (c.f., TODO item in debcheckout.pl).

* Consolidate common functionality like DEVSCRIPTS_CHECK_DIRNAME_LEVEL/REGEX

* Work on making some of the larger, more complicated scripts more maintainable.

Cheers,
