Sorry, I've run out of time for this packaging. I was thinking of finishing it by january (after my life goes back to normal), but if you'd like you can take over the package right now. It's not a difficult task, the main problem is to get the other ruby packages DBI depends on. Like Ruby/ODBC, Ruby/Oracle, Ruby/SQLite, Ruby/SQLRelay, Ruby/Interbase, Ruby/DB2 and Ruby/mSQL. They're not packaged yet, but they're available from RAA. Maybe you should group other 2-3 devels to package the whole thing... I don't know.
