But on http://www.nsf-middleware.org/NMIR2/license_nws.asp one can read that NWS is released under a BSD like licence... = I guess that upstream author forgot to change the file in the tarball... Description : Network Weather Service, monitoring tool for grid plat= form The Network Weather Service is a distributed system that periodically monitors and dynamically forecasts the performance various network and computational resources can deliver over a given time interval. The service operates a distributed set of performance sensors (network monitors, CPU monitors, etc.) from which it gathers readings of the instantaneous conditions. It then uses numerical models to generate forecasts of what the conditions will be for a given time frame. We think of this functionality as being analogous to weather forecasting, and as such, the system inherits its name. = I already packaged the version 2.0.5 of this program (available from www.ens-lyon.fr/~mquinson/deb.html), and I'm currently working on porting my patches (for usability, bug fixes and new functionnality) to this new version. = Thanks, Mt. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux blaise 2.4.19 #1 dim sep 29 12:30:38 CEST 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=3Dfr_FR.ISO-8859-1, LC_CTYPE=3Dfr_FR.ISO-8859-1
