Hi there, I've packaged the library here: http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/libdivsufsort.git We can co-mantain or you can even take over if you like. I mostly packaged it as a dependency for https://github.com/simongog/sdsl-lite (which I packaged here: http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/libsdsl.git).
