Hi Bas! Just a short heads-up regarding ImplicitCad. I don't know whether you whether you have been following the 31C3 congress currrently taking place in Hamburg, but there was a talk by someone on the topic of ImplicitCAD which has also forked the code and continued with the development, see [1].
The forked code can be found on gitorious [2]. It might be a good idea to get into touch with them.
