That is bad news. I was planning on using those classes to create an implementation of the upcoming java.util.concurrent package for GNU Classpath (which is used by the gcj, kissme and jikes packages in Debian and by some other virtual machines not yet packaged). I had hoped that we could use the earlier work of Professor Lea as basis for this package since I assumed it was all in the public domain. But if those classes are based on Suns code we will have to rewrite these from scratch. How many files/classes are affected? Maybe we can just rewrite those based on the GNU Classpath implementations. (We have a full implementation of the java.util Collection framework).
