Hi, An update on this.
I can confirm that the latest release does indeed still build on jessie but there is usage of deprecated GLib functions that meant that I had to override flags in the Makefile. This will be slightly trickier than I had first anticipated, but I am still willing to adopt this package and continue working towards a new upload.
