I don't like the description. 1) too long 2) No need to repeat the name of the program 3) 'Linux Platform' - surely 'Debian Platform' is better, then you won't have to change it for the other kernels :) Seriously though, people will see this description in places such as aptitude and debian related web pages - the 'Linux Platform' phrase is really not needed. 4) Netscape Composer and Microsoft FrontPage What are these? To find out what your program is, I have to look at what other programs are? Generic terms would be better, e.g. WYSIWYG You could then expand on this in the longer description. If you insist on mentioning other software (quanta+, vim,...), then please highlight the differences between those and the GINF system.

The Gtk+ interface allows users to create pages by typing text, clicking buttons and exploring menus. ... -- +----------------------------------------------+ | Mark Howard cam.ac.uk mh344@ | | http://www.tildemh.com tildemh.com mh@ | +----------------------------------------------+ -- +----------------------------------------------+ | Mark Howard cam.ac.uk mh344@ | | http://www.tildemh.com tildemh.com mh@ | +----------------------------------------------+
